Webinar: Supporting the children of Beirut - Right To Play's response

Right To Play’s team in Beirut has been providing frontline psychosocial support to children since the devastating August 4 explosion, to help them cope with trauma, anxiety, and grief, and mobilizing our networks and resources to help communities recover.
Join us for a one-hour webinar on Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. EDT learn more about the current situation in Lebanon. Country Director Janine Ayoub and Global Director of Country Operations Elias Ayoub will share their insights into the political, economic, and humanitarian crisis affecting the country, how the explosion has compounded existing issues, and the international response so far.
Children in Beirut were already experiencing higher than normal levels of anxiety and depression before the explosion. This latest crisis will only deepen the problem. Janine and Elias will talk about how our Beirut team responded after the explosion to support children affected by the blast and ensure their learning doesn’t fall behind, share powerful stories of the families they’re working with, and discuss how donor support can help the children of Beirut rise above adversity.
